The Parks and Recreation Department is reponsible for the organization and administration of all Town sponsored recreation activities and facilities. The division is also responsible for the care and maintenance of all Town Parks, open space, municipal grounds, athletic fields, school grounds, street trees, and cemeteries.
The Department provides a wide variety of recreation opportunities to enhance the quality of life in Glastonbury. Town sponsored programs, public open space, and recreation facilities work together to meet the diverse needs and interests of the community and its members.
