Directions: From Route 384 East to Exit 1, Spencer St., left on Spencer at 4th traffic signal take left onto Olcott St., facility on left. Olcott St. is at the intersection with Hartford Rd.
Bring a Driver’s license, tax bill or car registration to prove residency.
This is your opportunity to safely dispose of oil and lead based paints, stains, acids, automotive fluids, insecticides, herbicides, fertilizers, chemicals, household cleaning products, and other hazardous materials which may have accumulated at your home, in your basement, or garage. Please leave all materials in original containers.
Do not bring latex paint, waste oil, or antifreeze. These are not hazardous waste! Waste oil and antifreeze is accepted at the Transfer Station Recycling Facility. Latex Paint should be dried out, it then can be disposed of along with regular refuse.
