Programs for Families and Children
In addition to the other programs offered by the department, certain programs are earmarked specifically for families and children. These programs include:
Financial Assistance
Recreation Program for Youth and Children (Parks and Recreation Fee Waivers)
Holiday Programs (Thanksgiving Food Baskets, Holiday Toy Shop)
Summer Camp Programs; Camp CONNRI and the Channel 3 Kids Camp
Regifting Program - collection and distribution of new and never used gifts for children to give their
parents on Mothers / Fathers Day,
Give Kids a Smile - annual complimentary dental services provided to children aged 5 - 14 years
Back-to-School promotional programs.
Our Holiday Programs are funded entirely through private donations and contributions. Parties interested in contributing to these programs can make monetary donations to: Glastonbury Holiday Fund or donate NEW toys for distribution at our annual Toy Shop in early December.
